Hey, readers of my blog. [gentle massaging]
My heart is still broken. And while my writer's block also seems to be, for now this is all that matters in my universe. While eating soup for lunch today, all I could think was: She was made in a cup! Like Soup! Okay, not all I could think, but I thought of it. And Lucille's beautiful cruelty. And the cousins and their lovin. And my heart broke a bit more. [silent weeping]
Taste the sad, Michael!
Tastes like happy...
Right. Do I have reason for continuing to reveal the depths of my obsession? News? Not really, although I did come across an article, which while providing no real new information, can be a pretend excuse for me to write about AD. Mostly it serves as comfort hearing the sorrow of our humor soul mates. As for substance, it details the (mostly boring) logic of scheduling and cutting back orders for seasons of shows and how it doesn't mean that a show is cancelled. Even though it probably does. My new friend Tim Goodman does claim that HBO has declared it will take no one's "sloppy seconds". Rumors of interest on Showtime's part, apparently, are beginning to swirl. Can you imagine the L Word (and Weeds, which is very funny) crossover possibilities? I would love to see Tobias (or Lindsey!) show up at the Planet. So scratch those comments to HBO and let's start a note writing campaign to Showtime. After all, we all know the importance of leaving notes.
